Smooth curved surface

Hi, It has been a while, but recently picked up working in SU again, but I became a bit rusty. I have a model (logo) in 3D, but te curved faces clearly show the separate faces, when rendered. I know there is a way to smooth this out, but can't remember. :( part of the image: https://www.dropbox.com/...

There's no way SketchUp could handle that kind of video. But if it could, Twilight could render it. ;)

Re: animated video

Wondering what software they use though...

I tried today a bit with SU and the proper animation plugin, then rendered it with twilight, but eventhough this might pull it of in a way, it will become too complex for SU to handle I suppose.

I ran into this video on youtube and was wondering if it would be possible to create such a video/animation with twilight...

Re: Grandfather clock

I like it very much :gj: it really gives an old antique look. Although I am not too sure about the glass as it is a bit too scratched. To me it can be two things: - either it has a very nice painting look, the glass reflection and the overall touch and feel of the clock look like it is oilpainted on...

Would you mind to share the roof tiles? I need to tile a roof myself so it would come in handy

Re: 130 Free XFrog Trees

I tried to import a few myself but ran into the following: importing OBJ - faces on branches are triangulated and the triangles are front/back faced per triangulated square So faces have to be manually flipped? - everything is one piece, no subgroups or components for leaves / branches, etc. importi...
