Aluminum Folding Chair...
So I needed an aluminum folding chair (the old-fashioned kind most of us grew up with) for a sign project I am working on and couldn't find one I liked on the 3D Warehouse....so I made this one. I figured this as a "super easy" little project...WRONG! The "folds" in the corner be...

Aluminum paint?

I have been messing with the materials in Twilight, and can come up with reflective surfaces, and colored surfaces...but whatever *that* stuff is, I'm having a little trouble duplicating. Does anyone have any s...

Re: Animation Artifacts
One note: Single thread is only faster when you're not on a 3D object. The backgrounds render a LOT faster in this mode, but when the objects come into focus it slows down significantly over a rendering setting with multi threads. I agree - this is the first time I've run into this problem, so have ...

Re: Animation Artifacts

Re: Animation Artifacts
Hi Fletch. No special made render setting. Just selected "Low". Trying the following: Prelim: Fewer artifacts and smaller, but still there. Low: Artifacts Low+: Same as Low Medium: Same as Low Removed all objects and just did the background with "Low": Artifacts still present. Re...

Re: Animation Artifacts
Hi Fletch, Thanks for the quick reply. Here is the file: http://www.yjprod.com/image/dt/LOGO3D.skp No special lighting (just a spherical sky) If you need the sky jpg (a.k.a. it's not coming with the file) it can be found here: http://www.yjprod.com/image/dt/1374935110_389df3a525_o.jpg The surface is...

Animation Artifacts
Hi Gang, I have done several animations with no problem, but this latest simple flyby animation seems to be producing a number of black square artifacts. Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this? Here is an example: http://www.yjprod.com/image/dt/DT.htm Simple animation, default settings...
