Pro V2 - Saving other than JPG, and Update Checker in Sketchup Make
Howdy! Hey, I'm an avid fan of Twilight and have a registered version of Pro V2. In short, it's been an amazing tool over the years. :D Got a couple of odd problems behavior-wise: 1) When saving a render, it *only* allows JPG as an option. 2) When checking for updates, a dialog comes up that says, &...

Alpha mask with DOF feathering?
Hi there! First off - TRV2 (pro) ROCKS! Nicely done! :gj: Next...was wondering (probably sans luck) whether it was possible to have an alpha mask render with the "blur/feathering" that would be present in a DOF-enabled render? I've been searching forums and documentation all morning for wa...

Re: Latest try...
That's NEAT! Love LOVE the watercolor treatment on the leaves, clouds, and of *course* the architecture. Great work! Gotta try some of this myself!

Re: Twilight is Rendering my grid lines
Thanks, this helped me out immensely!
For some reason, I had it in my head that it was the other way around and that "ungrouping" was the solution or that it was some sort of "directional lighting" problem, so I was pulling out my hair trying to figure it out.

Re: Smoke - What am I missing?
Chris,
AMAZING advice. I'd have never thought to approach it that way (in fact never knew there even was a way to pull it off). I cannot thank you enough.
Resulting (final) image below (thanks again!).

Re: Smoke - What am I missing?
Hi Chris! Thanks for the quick reply!
If I can make sure I have it right, rather than importing a transparent texture to a surface, flat-out import the image (not as a texture) instead...?
If so, I will give it a shot when back at the office.

Smoke - What am I missing?
Hi Gang, Here's something I clearly know very little about. I put a transparent/alpha PNG on a "face-me" object of a puff of smoke (I even re-processed the image to make *sure* the alpha channel had variance). In Sketchup (see first image below) it looks *exactly* as it should. In Twilight...

Circuit Board...
Hi Gang, Thought I'd throw my latest out there for fun. It's a custom PCB that we use in association with my job. The model was actually made to use in monochromatic form with regard to user documentation, but I thought a nice render could enhance our marketing material as well, so decided to run a ...

Re: WIP: Halo Around Can Light...
Turns out I solved my own problem. :whoot: Here's what the issues were (in case anyone else should find this of value): 1) The diameter of the point-light was enough that it put a portion of the "bulb" beyond the rim of the light, casting backward...so I made it smaller and tucked it up in...
