Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

I still don't understand...
When it recalculates for the following frame why does the lighting result change when the #s behind it are not be changing since no animation (and hence nothing interfering with the lighting) is occuring from one frame to the next?

Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

Does this occur with all animation software packages and if so are they all just using higher settings to address the issue?

Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

That last mod helped but it added to the rendering time.
Can you explain the original issue and why the shadowed areas are changing lighting from one frame to the next?

Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

I take that back. If i look closely at the shadows in 'animation medium' I see that it is occuring there as well but it is far less noticeable than at lower settings. Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

I changed the sun radius down to 1 as a test and the issue remained while using 'animaton preview' or 'animation low' settings and did not disappear until moving up to at least 'animation medium' settings.
Should it have disappeared at these lower settings?

Re: Strange lights (twilight problem?)

Were you able to review the videos noted and see the light issues that appear in them?
These were made using the 'low object animation' option.
