I used polished concrete template but result was too perfect... Polished concrete that I've seen typically have slightly blurry reflections, so I made little bump with procedural clouds -- should had been more subtle.

Here's something I came up with while getting use to V2 and trying to understand modern kitchens. Polished concrete flooring doesn't really work out, but I couldn't convincingly fade it in Photoshop.

Fletch: Larger cabinet doors on far left and right have fabric panel inserts. I was trying procedurals but apparently I still have to tweak it.

Wanted to test some V2 specific features on older model.

- Wood>Gloss template with 0.2cm Bevel modifier on bump map added in deep editor
- Preset 08 with HDR lighting
- Post pro in Photoshop

It's from a photo of granite slab, using ceramic preset with 1.52 ior and reflection about 90,000. White flakes were enhanced in post-process.

Here's couple lighted backsplash renders with different configurations.

Backsplash in picture 1 uses Glowing Crystal material from here.

Idea for picture 2 was taken from this magnificent thread. Bump map was just a random picture found with a keyword "grayscale pattern".

800x600 is closer to DVD quality.

720P is 1280x720
1080P is 1920x1080

Don't worry about DPI, 72 is correct in this case.

It was actually an image with background removed. I would love to use MakeHuman in future projects.
