Re: Ready for my close-up
You can also try moving your focus object close to SketchUp origin.

Re: Colorful kitchen
I used polished concrete template but result was too perfect... Polished concrete that I've seen typically have slightly blurry reflections, so I made little bump with procedural clouds -- should had been more subtle.

Colorful kitchen
Here's something I came up with while getting use to V2 and trying to understand modern kitchens. Polished concrete flooring doesn't really work out, but I couldn't convincingly fade it in Photoshop.

Re: Woodwork with bevel modifier
Fletch: Larger cabinet doors on far left and right have fabric panel inserts. I was trying procedurals but apparently I still have to tweak it.

Re: Studio kitchen with lighted backsplash
It's from a photo of granite slab, using ceramic preset with 1.52 ior and reflection about 90,000. White flakes were enhanced in post-process.nickchun wrote:Very good. What material did you use for the counter tops?

Re: Settings for a 720 HD video
800x600 is closer to DVD quality.
720P is 1280x720
1080P is 1920x1080
Don't worry about DPI, 72 is correct in this case.

Re: Bathroom renders
I used the tutorial found on Kerkythea forums which is also mentioned in Fletch's link, but the forum looks dead.cballtgh wrote:was the steam in two added in pp? if so, can you give a super quick how to. Sorry if this seems like an amateur question, I am however an amateur.
