Re: My first Bathroom
Thanks Phil. The knobs were one of those Doh! moments. After about 12 hours of rendering, I noticed that I never applied a template to the knob material. I did try and correct it in post by rendering out just the knobs and overlaying them, but it still looks very fake. It's still a WIP. I have to tr...

Re: My first Bathroom
Here's an updated angle. Happier with this one. Still had to render on Progressive Preview, so there is a a slight AA issue. I could probably cook more, but I can't spare the CPU any longer.

My first Bathroom
This is a WIP that I did for practice. This is my first attempt at an interior in Twilight and my first bathroom scene I've ever done. Colors and Materials may be a little much for my taste, but I think it works, sort of. I appreciate any comments. BTW - Rendered on Interior Progressive Preview. (#1...

That's great Pete. I guess they treat obesity, addiction to OxyContin and obnoxious rabble rousing. It would be funny to make it The Limbaugh Center - Right Wing.

Re: Trial #3....House and Pond
I liked the first one the best. The new set looks good, but something is weird with the wood texture on the pergola beams. I liked the lighting in the first one with the shadows being cast across the beams. Also the corrugated roof is better in the first one. I hope you don't mind...I did a little p...

Re: Quick Doodle
Indeed. It's great isn't it! The blurriness on the edges is due to my quick and dirty clone stamping to add some grass around the edges. I think I may have had some opacity on the brush by mistake. All in good fun! EDIT - Here's a quick DOF using a twilight depth map and photoshop Len Blur filter.

Quick Doodle
Here's a quick doodle I was playing with today. About 30 minutes work....or should I say play. I was trying to test out the masking in relation to substituting grass into a render. Grass texture I got from here - http://www.redrockgc.com/course.JPG BTW - If you need good eye level grass for this typ...

Re: Trial #3....House and Pond
I think the thin warped glass really helps. I would move the camera a tad so that the tropical plant in the foreground is closer to the edge. This will help lead the eye to the house and not feel like you have to look around something to see the focal point. Also adjust the levels on the 2D cutout t...

I would also reduce the reflection on the glass material.

Re: Short animations
Cool stuff Ward...keep it up. I really need to get up to speed on Sketchy Physics and Proper Animation! Hopefully this winter will yield some extra time.
