Re: Twilight has to have SU force quit and re-start to work
Not as yet, I do have a win 10 workstation I've still got to try. What's strange is that both another workstation and a business laptop do the same thing. Happens in an empty model as well as populated ones.

Re: Twilight has to have SU force quit and re-start to work
Thanks for the reply Chris. I did as you said and it doesn't seem to have resolved. This issue has occurred for several months, with TWR being the only plugin installed. It's not a real pain at the moment, I just have to remember not to do any work without saving, before using TWR. Here's some info ...

Twilight has to have SU force quit and re-start to work
Hi there, Bit of a strange one, but on two machines this occurs. I have a model open (simple or complex) and click Twilight Render, Sketchup then locks up indefinitely. I force quit the programme, then restart it, click Twilight Render again and it pops up as normal. Twilight Render then works as us...

Re: Output difference between old and clean install
Ahhhh, quick update, you were quite right Fletch, could have sworn I had the pro version installed on the laptop, but no! It might be an idea, but how about a watermark or something similar for the free/cheap version? OK, a watermark might be unfair, but something similar - otherwise some (like me!)...

Re: Output difference between old and clean install
Ha! Well in sure I had v2 on the older one, really sure! I'll have a look at the old one before it's decommissioned...I. e., given to my old folks!
Thanks for the link though, I'll have a read now, although I do recall skipping over it recently.
Cheers! Chris

Output difference between old and clean install
This is a just an FYI really So I'm gradually upgrading to a new workstation and noticed this funny effect. Here is an output from the old pc: Screenshot 2017-05-10 old pc-50pc.png And here it is from the New workstation: screen shot new pc-50pc.png Now something you may notice is that the quality f...

Re: V2 How Fast Are You - Official Twilight Scene - Bauhaus Lamp
Nice comparison! Shows that increasing thread count by factor of three does not necessarily reduce render times proportionately, but it definitely gives much quicker render times. :^: Glad you like! I do have an 8 thread laptop, I might give that a go too - as an in-betweenie with a very similar CP...
