Re: Glass Conservatory

I was thinking about the reflections on the left-facing glass wall on the exterior shot. If I were taking a photo of that building I would try using a polarizing filter to reduce the reflections. Anyway that could be done using Twilight or would it have to be done in post?

Twilight has been a tremendous benefit to me in my work. But having to carry a Windows laptop home so that I can ...

Re: Glass Conservatory

Very pleasant work! I wish there was a Mac version of Twilight too. If we keep asking, maybe it will happen...Did you model the furniture in Sketchup also?

Re: Pool with Swim-up Bar

Stu: You are so right about vegetation if you are trying to show realistic plantings from a landscape design point of view. I work in architecture using an non-photorealistic style so I am able to take liberties with vegetation to some extent, since my focus is more on the building. I have worked so...

Re: Pool with Swim-up Bar

The improvements you have made to the foreground and sky really help I think. I'm still bothered by the background vegetation, and I think I know why: lack of shadow. I realize these are 2D images, but in post-pro you could paint in some darker areas where they would naturally occur to give more a s...

Re: My first render with Twilight

Nice image. I think the noise is distracting and either you should cook it more, or use noise reduction. Probably a longer render is the way to go.
