Yeah, I've no idea why the texture turns white...please let us know if you figure it out

Are just trying to get the wood texture from the table top? If so, that's easily done in Photoshop (or Gimp, or other image editing software).

not a manufacturer, but have you tried CG textures?

Strange...are your faces all oriented correctly?
