Thanks Fletch, I'm doing some more benchmarks with some of what you have mentioned, it's hard to benchmark with the unbiased render settings though becuase sometime a pass will take longer after an change is made to improve the speed but the amount of denoising happening is increased per pass ... :w...

I know quite a lot is written about reducing render times already, especially with regards to different lighting setups but I wanted to get some specific advice on this. twilight render target failed the specified target is too cl
This error is I guess because my target point is too close to the camera
May I ask what the parameters of this error condition are please! will changing the scale of the model effect it? I've done what are relatively closer shots before.

Thanks for the links, The one on the legs in particular, I can add a bit more detail with that. I used to play a lot but I don't have the time these days with career and family.
