here is my poor home computer. strange thing is, i have 4 gb ram. relatively slower cpu but not that slow. when i look at the result on this topic it seems reasonably priced athlons performs better thatn intel.

my humble office computer results in 1.48 minutes.

i attached a tweaked easy#9 for my needs. give it a try. 300 iterations gives satifying result for relatively slower machines in complex models. i own a dual core 1 year old intel cpu. it is time to buy i7 i guess. plus HDR image trick works for JPG images. http://twilightrender.com/phpBB3/viewforum...

There is a little software called hdr view.
This works too.

Ok, after reading lots of things about issue, i finally managed to make a balanced custom settings for my needs. No more black screens.
Can you please tell mee which parameter is (lets say #10) the variable for the grain amount on final image? Iterations?

i checked on another model which is pretty simple. it is a LED base and a lens on it i got from google ware house. i put a point light on it and there is glass material on reflector. i can render in medium setting but cant on high. why? and i attached the skp file. it still can render on ver high de...
