How to make concealed light on ceiling

How to make concealed light on ceiling, i mean a cove light which is hidden.
lets say i have a ceiling with a decorative gypsum, behind the gypsum i want to put light arround the gypsum
to give more luxury view of the interior how to do this.

1 - create a material called Emitter and make it a color you like for the light source
2 - paint the interior of your recessed soffit with the Emitter material you created
3 - apply the Material Template > Emit 100w
4 - adjust the power of the Emitter to be stronger - something between 500 to 1000 may be about right, depending on a lot of things.

Open the attached .skp file to see how all this is done.
