Is there anything that I need to do to obtain access to the red carpet materials besides obtaining a license (just purchased)?

Follow the directions in the linked post above. Licensed users for V2 can upgrade their forum account on-line.

Can you please answer the original question about how to get to the Red Carpet resources once one's registered their forum name and product code? It doesn't help to re-fill out that link and get this message:

A forum account has already been registered to this Product Code
If you believe this is an error, please contact licensing@twilightrender.com. Make sure to include your Product Code.

Why is Twilight so difficult to purchase and get access to the resources...

What exactly is the problem? You already have access to the Red Carpet forums. They are on the main forum screen, toward the bottom. I have no idea what "the original question" is...

I don't think Twilight Render is difficult to purchase, activate, or get access to the online resources. For V2 it is all done completely through the website and is pretty much instantaneous (which is a lot better than V1). If there is some step along the way that is difficult, please let us know specifically what the problem is.

It appears in the index on the forum after you have upgraded your account, which you have... so you should see it now.
