Re: Stone House and Pool
Love it! Especially how you integrated adjacent buildings instead of obscuring them with vegetation and such...
Some say there are no stupid questions. I'm in the habit of proving those people wrong.

Just lovely Your plants and vegitation are very well done. Very complimentary to your scene Fletch, can you tell us how much of the plants are post pro and what vegitation is rendered in the scene
Re: Stone House and Pool
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Re: Stone House and Pool
wow! That is just superb
Re: Stone House and Pool
great render my dear friend
is there any solution using layered materials of kt to prevent repeating I've experienced it once, but for grass and mud mix-texture and not blocksFletch wrote:... stone repeats... this stone is very difficult...
Re: Stone House and Pool
Really very nice Fletch!
The stone wall tex repetition could be pretty much fixed with a little selective cloning of course but its not too noticable as it is.
I, too, would be interested in the source of your plants?

Re: Stone House and Pool
Thanks guys,
The foreground plants are 2D cutouts I created from photos I took this summer
The plants to left near the house are 3D... placed in Kerkythea.
This was rendered with outdoor preset but in Kerkythea. (net rendered w/ total of 10 threads)
I will make better stone texture.
I works ok if there are a lot of doors/windows to break up the repetition, but on the side wall with no openings it's no good.
The client was happy. I completed 4 images total.

Re: Stone House and Pool
Fletch may i just ask a couple of questions.
How bright do you set your sky?
Strength of sun?
Sun RGB?
I ask because I like how you can still see detail in the shadows. not too dark and not too washed out.
