Sponza

Post by Frederik » Sat Mar 21, 2009 1:44 pm

Hi All,

Here's a Twilight render of the well known Sponza model...

You can download the Sponza model >>here<< and try to render this model yourself... ;)

very strange.

would you mind if I ask you to try rendering it with those settings again? perhaps there's a bug or something...
here's what I get with your settings... I think you'll agree it's quite a bit softer shadow than yours?

(when I opened the sponza model you posted, the soft shadow box was UNCHECKED :? )

Hhhmmmm.... :| Good point, Fletch...

Maybe the render posted didn't have the soft shadow box ticked...
Can't remember now, cause I've played with the settings, saved the model and now when I open it, the soft shadow box is ticked...

It's always a good test subject.
