service tea

Post by alvydas » Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:25 pm

Just want to show how some of the program makes it possible to get good results. I use Neatimage and Picasa. All Renders took about 5 minutes with 09 easy . Original resolution is 1000x850. Resize images up to 80%. This produces a better quality. Is the original version and post-pro.

Congratulations for the images, can you explain the proces followed in the last two images? the change between before and after are very impresive.

Impressive post pro, only point I can see (and this is getting picky) is that on the gold handle of the pot you seem to lose your AA, especially on the right hand vertical. The thing I like about leaving progressive renders longer is that they are so sharp, there's no AA blur. I like your first pair in particular :^:

process is the same. only had to reduce the image to 60%. because artifacts can be seen very well in the wider resolution.

alvydas,
Neatimage must be the best noise removal tool (even better now than when I last tried it). I have tried many many different noise removal tools and have never been impressed. But these results are impressive.
So you: rendered, reduced noise, edited in Picasa with some effects, and then reduced final image size? (this is similar to my workflow.)
