Forum tip - how to avoid scroll bars on forum images
... just go to User Control Panel / Board Preferences / and chose a different board style.
I didn't study them all, i picked the one called "610" and it works.
It still has some minor issues - like i would like to change the font color etc, but i didn't find any way to do it.
At least the hated scroll bars are gone...

It does not work with all of them however. And it seems to remove the "Home" link next to the Board Index link at the top of the page. That link only shows up in the default Maxthon style.
Thanks for the tip however, I never knew that was there

Thanks! Already made the switch.

I fixed the maxtheon template so it no longer has scrollbars for tall images. Those of you who wish to return to the maxtheon fold will be welcomed with open arms.

Related tip:
If you want to make sure your images never get scroll bars in any monitor, attach them but do not insert them inline.

As another related tip, Microsoft Paint is the lazy man's way of re-compressing an image or two before uploading them to the forum. Just open the image and save as a JPG with another name. MS Paint -at least in its XP incarnation- always uses a medium quality JPG setting.
Since Twilight outputs top-quality JPG, re-compressing will help you upload your images faster and visitors in slower connections will also browse the forum faster.
