Dunny

Post by Boofredlay » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:18 pm

I made one of those lovable little Dunny characters
If you want to render it I made the model available on SketchUcation here.

I am not sure I will get to render it anytime soon past this clay model. I hope to see some nice ones here. ;)

A couple quick ones. I think the Stone Dunny turned out nice.

Wow they're really cute and nice! If I had any idea how to texture a shape like that I'd render a few :D

Well all I did with the stone one was search for Oil Paint Texture and found one I liked. I imported it into the model and positioned it in front of the Dunny. I exploded it, sampled it then painted the Dunny. I gave the texture a bump of 1 and that was it. Simple.

These are really cool!

But, how do you map a complex pattern over a complex shape?

I was wondering the same thing. Have been toying a little with simple textures, hope to post one soon :)

He's pretty fun to play with. Got an idea in my head for one. Will work on it when I have another moment. In the mean time Dunny smash NYC!
