Is that DOF in Twilight (Render) then?
Yeah all in Twilight. I've used F-number=5,6 and setted the camera focus point on the centre of the glass.

How did you achieved that unfocused light vs clear image seen through the glass?
Just a glass with water, a little plane to hold the glass and a HDRI for lighting & background. The image is not simply seen trough the glass, but is refracted in the water so if the glass is into focus also the refracted image is. A common effect. The image is also upside-down, due to the spherical shape of the liquid, and also reversed.
