Re: Latest project renders...
I definitely prefer the watercolors to the renders and I think your images are good, but I think the 'watercolor effect' look is a little to strong.
I am by no way a PP or NPR expert and I am trying very hard to have an opinion , but I think it would look better if you paint your watercolor image with watercolor brushes so it dissolves more in the canvas/paper texture.
I mean add a hand-painted feel to it.
Fletch posted a very interesting a PP tutorials link not long time ago in the off topic section, maybe it would give you some ideas.

Hey Tom! Good to see you. They are looking pretty good to me!
For some reason the watercolors look "blown out" or overly bright in the light areas. I think if the "exposure" of the image were not so overexposed, it could improve the look of the watercolors.

Re: Latest project renders...
I'm a big fan of the old fashioned hand painted watercoloured renders (our practice used that medium quite often, once upon a time....!!), but not a big fan of computer generated water colours.....however, this is beginning to look very good....
....it works for me, and if i was a client, I would believe it was hand crafted....!!
....nicely done...!!

Re: Latest project renders...
Thanks a bunch for the kind and helpful words, Guys (sorry I got too busy to respond right away). Here's a couple more hoping to address some of the issues you mentioned...I pushed them both ways: toward an architectural illustration style and a cleaner wet style. Whadaya think?
