Re: Work in progress - My little Renault Kangoo
The model is much-much better than the render. I guess that PhM34's intention was to show a model, rather than make a good render. Though, such a nice model deserve more attention in composing a scene .
I really hope to see a very good image here!
Nice model indeed ! Will you show us a image with hidden lines turned on?

Great start, Philippe!
Now place it on a studio screen background/backdrop, and light it with a good photo studio hdr!
Subject: Studio Screen Background/backdrop for product shots
Try the Translucents Material Library in Twilight's Materials Dialog, and use the Car Glass.
The headlight will be challenging, but when you get a good headlight material it will look much better.

Re: Work in progress - My little Renault Kangoo
Hi,
Thank you for your advice. I finished the little video of this scene (34h calculations for 25 seconds at 25 fps) and I put it online.
Then I will place this model with some modifications (edit wiper, plastic cap wheels place) in a scene (probably an industrial shed).
To be continued ...

Wow, super model, would you mind sharing what SketchUp tools/plugins you used?
Great stuff.
Great stuff.
The above is probably a stupid question. Thank-you for your patience.

Re: Work in progress - My little Renault Kangoo
Tres bien, Philippe!
I hope you will put it in a studio background with HDR lighting and re-render your video. (after you fix the material for the headlights)
