Modern Wine Cellar

Post by bradleyabbott82 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:53 pm

Here is a render of a modern wine cellar with a product I'm developing currently. Could you guys give me some feedback on the lighting - I always have trouble with my displays (42" LEDs) and getting them to give me accurate results in terms of brightness/contrast on my renders... I'd appreciate some critique on the lighting conditions - if they look good on your display (or NOT), could you tell me what type of display you're using and a description of whats wrong (or that it looks correct to you)?

Post-Production, as well as original unmodded render, as well as an image of the ACTUAL space. (46hours, 133 passes on Easy9 in KT on quad-core 8 thread box)

Kudos to Dereeei on the room modelling.

Thanks!

Bradley

Could have fooled me, the first image looks very photorealistic.
Perhaps the glass is too green in comparison to the actual photo?

Great model and render Bradley  I'm interested to know what the reflection is? i.e. the detail behind the camera :?:

The reflection is of a group of simple geometry (built to be UV-mapped with the original image of the actual bar that is located in the space directly behind the camera (in the real life space)). See the attached Images. This was set to be a light emitter so that it would affect the reflections more realistically (great idea Dereeei)..
