I like the point lights in the sideboard very much! Joke :) This is a very very good render and I personally don't like the sketchy overlay on it. Why not try to overlay a raw export of normal edges and not this sketchy style edges, but to a maximum of 10% opacity, just enough to show the volumes clearly? Somehow the sketchy concept does not match with the perfection of the rendered image, it just two different stages of the project. Of course this is only my personal taste.

Very nice model / rendering. I agree I'd like to see the rendering with a straight line overlay instead. I feel like the rendering is too polished and clean to mix with sketchy edges.

the idea was to show the client how a sketch can become reality.

I supposed this might be the idea but then you should probably be better served with a gradient opacity and not overlay.

See attached image as example and here is how it is done with GIMP:

1. Open sketchy image and open ready render as new layer on top of it.
2. Right click on the top layer in the Layers panel/window and select 'Add Layer Mask', then click on Add on the Add Layer Mask dialog (make sure the default value of 'White (full opacity)' is selected).
3. Select the Blend/Gradient tool and set the Gradient to 'FG to GB(RGB)' .
4. On the layer click and drag a line where you want the gradient (fade) to start and finish. The first click is where it will be faded out and the second click is where it will start to fade.
5. Right click on the layer in the Layers panel/window and select 'Apply Layer Mask'.

Great technique combining free-hand drawn perspective with rendered perspective. Also the design looks interesting.
