I'm looking into making stainless steel ones too. But to keep the price reasonable, the design has to be a lightweight, skeletal mesh.
Working on a modelling technique where you can start with any "base" model and make it skeletal but strong. Rather like the voronoi models below.
It's an incredibly time consuming and technical process but it means the stainless steel model below is actually cheaper than the "base" model printed in ceramic.
Gareth, I am hoping within the next couple of months these will become available. It's all about trying to get the most cost-effective manufacturing without having to outsource to China. They can CNC mill things unbelievably cheap over there but I can say good-bye to the rights of my design.
