Reality Show

Post by posodrac » Sat Oct 25, 2014 2:55 pm

Hi everyone, been a while that I'm away from this forum (stressful job).
Made this while in an identity crisis (no, I'm not attending a shrink). Just kidding, I like to think would look good as a wallpaper for my
monitor or a printed poster. The original size is 4096x2304. Hope you all like it.

Thanks guys for the appreciation. The initial idea started using a conventional TV passing to a steam punk look, but ended up in what I call a "Junk Ensemble".
With exception of the 80's cellphone and the vacuum valves, everything else was modeled by me. To achieve this result it pass through a lot PP of course. Used Photoshop and Lightroom.
It's very difficult to photograph an aquarium, any "Aquascaper" can tell you that. So I used a back emitter like they and "Alvydas" :rspkt: do and erased at the PP.
What I don't like in the scene is a fresh water fish watching a salted water flic. Also fish don't have bifocal view  do they!?

what?! that's exactly what I LOVED about it... the little fish dreaming of a better life elsewhere. It speaks directly to the human condition... always wanting what you can't have. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Also fish don't have bifocal view  do they!?
who cares?! Still hilarious.

in fish language "The water is always wetter on the other side" (need to blow a few bubbles when saying it) !
