Compact House

Post by AlexL » Fri Nov 07, 2014 2:52 pm

Here are some simple V2 renders w/ some pp of my house I've been working on. I am renovating the place my self while living in it, so Twilight is a huge help keeping morale up--showing us what we're working toward.

I like this last image a lot. :)

design tip:
I would avoid large grout lines near stove tops, much grease. Need a surface that is easily cleaned, like back-painted glass or stainless steel. If doing ceramic tile, at least do super tight grout lines because in 2 years these large grout lines will be hideous... and... white? behind stove top? :!

Thanks TSolt. Its pretty simple really, I just apply a photoshop watercolor filter without excessive contrast/shadow and then do a pencil contour line overlay out of sketchup at around 20% opacity.
