Basement Renovation

Post by Natron » Mon Dec 08, 2014 2:54 pm

My wife and I have been looking at ways to make our basement look and function better, so I decided to lay it all out in Sketchup and do a nice render of it to show her what I was thinking. The basement is already finished, but it's beige and carpeted, and mostly unchanged from when the builder built it, so most of the bones are already there. This is just adding a small closet, a sauna, a new floor, some paint and new furniture, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Also, the TVs used to have my company logo on them, but I've changed them to something more... appropriate? =)

Hey Natron, back in the day when I started to learn to use SketchUp and Kerkythea rendering I also rendered my basement.
These renderings put those to SHAME :rspkt: . Very nice images, your wife should like and be proud.

Here it is with vertical lines corrected to remove perspective distortion
