Adjusting spherical sky

Post by pbacot » Wed Dec 11, 2019 8:11 pm

It would be nice if the height of the spherical Sky image can be adjusted as in Kerkythea. I use images available online and often they all seem too high in window reflections. Comparing to photographs, it is difficult to use these images and have sky showing in window reflections with similar camera angles.

Agreed. but until then: (sorry for posting work-around, but just in case you need an easy one)

In Photoshop:
open spherical sky image
use Filter>Other>Offset
drag "Vertical" slider to slide the sky up or down where you think it works best.
save as new spherical sky.
load new sky into scene's environment.
