Tom glad to see these finally available! Excellent work....i just bought the set. One question. Can you explain how I might change the leaf shape? The Live Oaks and Pin Oaks here have more of an oval leaf rather than a Red oak leaf...Also wish i could find a way to hang some Spanish moss in those branches!!

Thanks again Guys...Oli, here we call it a late afternoon "cloud-burst" with a "damn storm drain's clogged again" thrown in. Red, these leaves and trees are "oak-esque", but called "Oak" 'cause it was easier to type so many times :`) Spanish moss, huh? You must be from the southeast...?

Here's a couple more renders of the cottage on the hill (made some new spherical skys I wanted to try out) and corresponding NPR images (what do you think, thanks):

DWC NPR's cont. plus a pencil sketch I'm interested in your opinion of:

IMHO... benches on porch seem too big. :D
first one looks best on my monitor... :totgm: (never been a fan of the fake pencil sketch look... been sketching with real pencils for too long to be enamored.)

I agree with Fletch about the pencil effect...it's too "automated". I also like the first NPR better.

Something I've forgotten to mention about the new trees: You don't need the shadow layer on for rendering...only for SU shadows when the sun is behind the trees and high in the sky (the leaf pngs cast a horizontal bar if so), and turning that layer off will speed up your model a bunch.

Yeah, I pretty much agree about the pencil sketch images...but they did come out better than I thought they would. And, Fletch, it's the porch that's too small: but that was the porch size provided with the Sears kit and I modeled it true to history...for better or worse :`)
