Well here is what i have done im my freetime, my attempt was to create a very quick concept scene that reflects mars exploration in a future time like cities flying and with some space ships flying on orbit
Modeling 1.5hrs Rendering+Post Production1h
Softwares used: Twilight as main, Photoshop for post production and Photosketcher for watercolor effect
all models from google warehouse

Idea, modeling and rendering is fine, but you may add more "atmosphere" using depth pass, and also it is a bit lit in my sight and less contrast, so maybe more contrast + fogy atmosphere (maybe red ) may helps

A+ for artistic idea! Love to see stuff like this!
I guess I have no idea what shadows look like on Mars but I would expect them to be stronger/sharper/darker...
the whole thing seems pixelated and grainy... so hope you can do a hi-res version.
