tgi3D have that free edition of Amorph (limited poly count etc), but they also have the 30-dray trial of PhotoScan (full version with no restrictions)
Warning! It's highly addictive!

They also have the full version of amorph as a 30 day trial.

Yesterday I had an issue when TT's UV Toolkit could not fix some UV restore functions on a twisted (sheered) surface but Tgi Amorph could.

Thanks guys.

I was going to buy artisan, then I completed my taxes report...

Meanwhile, I will try amorph, but I doubt I will buy it.

Cheers.

I think with soap skin bubble, edes by rail, and joint push pull, and free form deformation, round edges by fredo and scale by fredo, you don't need artisan for bedding and pillows, you can build almost anything with free tools.
Artisan is, IMHO, for organic modeling like characters, etc.

I totally agree those plugins are good enough for most jobs.

But I think Artisan would be better to do upholstery and add "defects" to fabrics and small folds and bumps near stitches. (probably for texturing too)

I will definitely take some more time to explore the possibilities of free plugins, I started earlier this week.

If anyone is interested, I found 5 very interesting tutorials on the subject. The program used is not SU, but very interesting nonetheless.
