Hey guys
Here's one I've been working on over the Christmas break. I'm pretty happy with it!
C&Cs welcome

Really good Dan. Do you feel that this level of render is helping with the sale?

Hi Nick. Absolutely. Clients are blown away by how real the renders look especially when another kitchen company shows them a very basic render from a standard kitchen CAD package. It has definitely won us business

I guess also there is a sense that you have put more effort into their design and are taking it more seriously. We are starting to get comments like that from our customers, although my renders aren't as good as yours they are still better than the local competition. By the way what work top are you using?

Thanks Nick
practice makes perfect. I've spent a long time working with SU & Twilight and I'm still learning all the time. The most important thing is to read every thread in the forum as you'll pick up lots of pointers then you need to just practice. The model is all important to get a good render. If the model is like real life then the render stands a chance of being so as well. Lighting is also key and I still struggle with this.
The worktops in this model are Silestone Alumino Nube and a natural stained wood from Arroway textures but as a business we deal with all the major brands of quartz plus we do granite, Corian and all the laminates as well.

Yes, we need to invest in some Arroway packs this year, it's a shame the work top manufacturers don't produce decent texture maps of their own products. The Silestone swatches are quite poor. I do need to spend more time reading the tutorials and practising but it's the usual catch22, busy with new customers so less time for research.
