Sure.
Here is the SSS texture:

The wall texture is from the default Metal SU textures: Metal_Aluminum_Anodized. I just changed the color, reduced the size to 12" and added a bump with this texture:

Glad you like SSS in Twilight, looks great, Boofredlay!
The important thing about the SSS material is the way the model is built and it's thickness, as well as the lighting.
(Be sure your model is a properly closed/valid solid.)
Can you say how thick this diffuser is built?
