Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Maybe Trimble pulled something on you with the last M1 update. I just downloaded that and now when I install TWL 64 bit , SU crashes and then crashes on re-launching until I remove TWL from the plugins folder.
Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Thanks for the heads up. We will look into the SketchUp update.
Do you get any error messages or additional information? What OS are you using?
By the way, I just updated to M1 (Windows 8.1, x64) and had no problem at all with Twilight Render.
Please check to make sure that (a) you have installed the x64 version of SketchUp 2015 (unless on OSX) and (b) that you have installed the x64 version of Twilight Render.

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Looks like you are on OSX (from your PM). What version of OSX?
I'm not in front of a Mac right now so I can't try it but I will as soon as I can.

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
OSX 10.8.5
can I try using 32bit TWL 2 with SU 8 under my license and switch to v 2015 when this is sorted?

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Absolutely.
I'll try it on 10.8. I didn't have any problem with 10.9 however.

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Looks like it is crashing on 10.8. I'll try to figure out what the problem is and let you know.
The good news (for most) is that it doesn't appear to be a problem for 10.9 or 10.10.
Edit: I think I know the problem. Some of the Twilight Render V2 libraries were build with the 10.9 SDK. It was set to target 10.8, which Apple says works, but experience has shown this is false.
I will rebuild x64 releases to use the 10.8 SDK and hopefully that will clear up any problems with using it on 10.8.

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Thank you. I guess if it's just me I can upgrade as I planned to anyway. I just need to verify some major SW has an update is Mavericks ready. With few developers sanguine about Yosemite, it's becoming a squeeze to have all smooth-working SW.
Thanks again for looking into this for me.

Re: Crash after installing 64 bit with v.15.1
Me too.
I installed Twilight Render v2.1(mac) to SketchUpPro 2015 (15.1.104) but it crushed!!
I tryed manual install (unzip *.rbz file and move it to plugins folder) but it also crushed.
Is there any help ?
My environment is..
MacBookPro Late2011 (2.5GHz core i7, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3)
OSX 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion)
SketchUp Pro 2015 MR1 (15.1.104) Japanese version
I can't update Mountain Lion to Yosemite, because of other softwares compatibility, so I need help.

We will get the fix for 10.8 out today or tomorrow. We apologize for the oversight and appreciate your patience.
