Re: TR -> KT Render Workflow
Thanks Fletch. I may need to revisit my plans. So far I have been modeling on an M1 Mac, and as I understand it, the Denoise plugin requires GPU architecture that the M1 macs don't have. It might be time to switch to Windows as a primary station.

TR -> KT Render Workflow
This weekend I'm thinking I will experiment with rendering with Kerkythea on a new tower I've been upgrading. I'm wondering if anyone has done a detailed workflow of modeling and setting up renderings in TR, exporting, and bringing a rendering into KT. I'm loving the Twilight Render interface and I'...

Re: Twilight V2 and Skatter
At the risk of bumping an old thread, I just want to say that Chris' description works perfectly for Skatter v2 objects, which I just got last night :D Even the border objects come through as borders without any extra tweaking Just a recommendation: the procedure for importing an external proxy as d...

Re: Horizon position with spherical sky
I know this thread is 10+ years old but I came looking for this same answer. All these explanations make sense. Because spherical sky is a virtual sky based on the camera and not on model geometry or it's absolute elevation relative to model 0,0,0, the only way to render - say, the treetops and a bi...

Re: Deep Editor Freezing
At the risk of bumping an old thread, I wanted to add that it's now 2022 and I'm having this same identical problem. I didn't see a resolution to this in the thread, but if I missed it please point me in the right direction. Using the material editor window to "convert to deep" causes Sket...

Re: Feedback from newish, knowledgable user
Thanks Fletch! You're all over the boards with helpful tips and your video series is first class. I can see you are committed to making TW the top SU renderer and supporting it's community of users.
I will definitely try these suggestions. Thanks again!

Feedback from newish, knowledgable user
I am a busy architect and designer with almost 30 yrs exp. Since the first public beta, SketchUp has been my go-to tool for figuring out space and form issues before committing them to construction documents or fabrication. I'm two weeks in to Twilight Render (coming from Podium - wtf was I thinking...

Denoise on M1
I'm running a new Mac M1 with onboard video. Anyone have a clue if the denoise plug in would work on that setup?
Thanks
