Snowflakes!

As some of ya'll may know, I am a Snowologist in my spare time - and the winters here in Minnesota give me ample opportunity for my studies. I have taken some extreme close-ups of a simple Stellar Plate Snowflake, magnified 1500 times! These images are best created in temps of at least -15F. :mrgreen:

I haven't seen many applications with updates, new functions, bells and wistles as I've seen with TWR... Do you mean that the updates happens too frequently...?? I've used the IDX Renditioner free version...while it was very easy to use and worked well, Twilight has far more options...spherical skies, reflection/diffuse mapping, and much more (I don't think IDX supports those). Not bashing IDX at all, but I think you'd be happier with Twilight if you are goi...

By the way, and this could be totally unrealistic, is it possible to get external processing capacity for PCs? For example a high power cpu that you can submit renders to through a USB port? Is anything remotely like that possible? The other thing I wondered was whether you can create a render farm...
