Re: Help Needed Rendering a Car Engine
Hey folks, thanks for all the suggestions! Your renderings look great. I was able to use most of the info from Fletch. I don't have full access to the pro version of Twilight so some things I wasn't able to do, but I did learn a lot. Here is the final result, it's not perfect but my client likes it....

Re: Help Needed Rendering a Car Engine
OK - I could not resist so I downloaded a car engine from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse and did some playing around. After some messing around (I had to modify the model by fixing up problems and then move around some parts to make it look like @jeffh's), here is what I came up with. CarEngine-1.png Lo...

I'll Have to post a link to it. It's a surprisingly large file. Even after purging files and reducing the number of groups.

Re: Help Needed Rendering a Car Engine
Thanks for the response, Fletch
I'm using Sketchup 2019 and apparently the files are saved in 2020.

Re: Help Needed Rendering a Car Engine
Thanks Fletch,
I wasn't able to open the files from the tutorial you posted but, I was able to find an HDRI I think might work. I'm using sketchup 2019. I'm not sure what you mean by "NK Metals". I'll post what I'm able to produce.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

Help Needed Rendering a Car Engine
Hey Folks, I'm making this engine model for a client and can't seem to get a good rendering. It looks too cartoonish to me. This is eventually going to be put on a T-Shirt and used in a magazine article along with some other views. Any Ideas on how to improve it? Material: 08 Exterior Daytime progre...

Re: License Activation Help
Hello,
I had to buy a new computer and download Twilight to it. I lost the email containing my product code and wanted to know if I could get it again. My email address is jeffbhodapp@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Jeff Hodapp
