Kerkythea 2018 Boost?
Does Twilight Render 2.12 now use the Kerkythea 2018 Boost engine? Noticed it includes some performance improvements and wondering whether it makes sense to export and jump into Kerkythea for production rendering. http://www.kerkythea.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13405 (though unclear whether s...

Re: tree nest
Thanks :D. I did fiddle with the exposure a bunch to try and get it right. I think I was overly caught up on making the lighting accurate to my preferences when using the space, rather than making the lighting suitable for production render / image sharing. I'll definitely keep this in mind though! ...

tree nest
This is a redesign of my nest space. It's a bed built over top an ikea dresser. The table is on wheels and slides up/down on a metal track.

Re: FastForward Denoising is now available
Cool! :) Jumped on this today along with a pro license. Noticing that denoise reduces image sharpness, especially earlier in the render. Wondering if we could get an unsharp mask post-process tool? Would be nice to play with this setting during the rendering. We could get an acceptable result even f...

Re: comparing progressive render times?
Smart, that makes sense :). I don't have the pro version of Twilight Render yet but will keep this in mind for when I do. thanks! That said, a good way to do a rough test comparison of 2 images rendered on MLT (metropolis light transport) aka Easy 09 Interior render setting in Twilight Render, would...

Re: Kitchen Remodel - feedback wanted :)
Thanks! :) The lighting is SORAA 01135 (https://www.soraa.com/products/19-MR16-GU10) (11 bulbs in 4 dimmable zones). I love their lights and they have IES files. Good suggestion with the glossier surfaces. I wouldn't have thought about that but I see your point. I tend to like flatter paint but cert...

Kitchen Remodel - feedback wanted :)
Hi all! I completed my first interior design and modelling project and am looking for feedback. In particular, any feedback to increase rendering quality and realism? See images here: https://pl3d.myportfolio.com/kitchen I definitely did a lot of learning on the way with this, and there are some thi...

Re: V2 How Fast Are You - Official Twilight Scene - Bauhaus Lamp
Google Compute Engine. 96 vCPU (2 x 24 core). 48 threads for render. Low: 16 seconds Medium: 55 seconds High: 3 min 8 seconds It looks like what's happening here is that this render only takes advantage of the 48 threads for a relatively short period. For example, on the high render, the progress ge...
