Re: Jagged edges in the render
Yes, I let the render to finish the AA pass. It seem that the only way is to use the Easy 08 or 09 presets so I will use these in the cases where the longer render time is not a problem.

Jagged edges in the render
What would be the best way avoid this kind of jagged/hard corners in the render (cladding/wood panels)? I have tested Low+, Medium+, High+ presets but it doesn't work that well. See attached image which is render with High+ Preset and 3600x1928 resolution, render time around 7min. In the red marked ...

Re: Question about clipmaps/alpha masks
Thanks again Gaieus. I have also been using Paint.net because it is quite easy to use. Anyway, I didn't know that I can make this kind of transparrent textures with Paint.net. Using Paint.net for making transparrent textures will make my workflow much faster.

Re: Question about clipmaps/alpha masks
Gaieus,
Thank you for the texture it works perfect! I have had problems to create transparrent textures but finally I found a simple Gimp tutorial. I assume that you created the texture like in this tutorial:

Re: Question about clipmaps/alpha masks
That was quick answer / good customer support!
I have to do some experiments before I understand what you meant. Anyway, here is the texture that I have used in the example model.

Question about clipmaps/alpha masks
This is a beginner question because I am not 100% familiar with alpha masks and clipmaps. I have been making paintings (parking lots and container yards) for my 3D models with clipmaps in KT. I have used texture as a clipmap and inserted paint color in KT, see picture in sketchup and renders is KT a...

Re: QTVR Twilight
I have been trying to use Panocube according to the instructions but still I haven't been able to create cubic movies. When I drag the spherical image to panocube.exe I get a message: "Not equirectangular input!" Has anybody had similar problems? When rendering, I used spherical projection...

Re: QTVR Twilight
Chris,
Panocube looks interesting but it seems really complicated. I would be interested if you have time to write down some simple instructions or tutorial.

Re: Specular Maps
I have been using Shadermap Pro for creating spacular maps. It is really cheap (20$) but I don't know if it is any good for professional use. There is also free command line version available.
