Re: Bedroomrender for Advertisement

I like the point lights in the sideboard very much! Joke :) This is a very very good render and I personally don't like the sketchy overlay on it. Why not try to overlay a raw export of normal edges and not this sketchy style edges, but to a maximum of 10% opacity, just enough to show the volumes cl...

Re: Render tips

Doug, I ran no noise reduction to your render. You may use Neat image to reduce noise but I believe you don't need to in this particular image. Most important thing in Neat image is to make a profile putting the rectangle on a uniform spot of color that is noisy, for instance the ceiling. Then I usu...

Re: Meeting room by Mojtaba

Hi, this is a good render in terms of modeling and lighting indeed. It is too blurry for my taste though, it lacks contrast in the details - floor and walls, the floor has no grouts. With 150 passes you can show a lot f detail if your materials have it without needing noise reduction in post-pro. I ...

In my workflow I use GIMP plus plugins described there, for denoise I use NeatImage. All of them are free. P.S. Here is a quick edit of your pic, I ran Tone mapping sc...

Re: Office Lobby Renovation

Well, here is what the histogram says, images look fine, the first is very bright but that it because a large part of it is sunlit exterior, the interior part is ok.

Re: Showroom Layout

Yes I tried but I don't remember any more why I did not like it, maybe I'll try again and see what happens. BTW I forgot to mention that I use Neat Image at the end of my workflow if needed and also put a raw edge image from SU on top of the edited rendered image and blend it in Multiply mode with o...

Re: Showroom Layout

Usually I save the ready render as three separate images with three different camera exposition settings, say 0.9 - 1.0 - 1.1. Then I blend these with the exposure blend script in GIMP ( http://tir.astro.utoledo.edu/jdsmith/code/exposure_blend.php ), this gives more detail in shadows and highlights....
