Re: Conceptual render
Thanks, Fletch. They told the story indeed, the concept was approved by the client :) You are right about the lighting, I just put a grid of IES lights under the ceiling in order to generally light the room. I plan to light the middle from beside the mirrored part with directed recessed floodlights ...

Conceptual render
I had to do some preliminary rendering in order to visualize the concept for a retail interior. The room is in the basement of a shopping mall and full of columns, the ceiling is only 2,70m above the floor. This is the first time i do this type of rendering, comments and critics are welcome.

Great work, Ramy! I remember the scene, it was posted in Sketchucation forum - a contest scene by teofas, I was very impressed with the modeling and rendering. Here is the topic: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=31094&start=0 . There is also a download link for the scene ...

Re: Simple interior
... De lamp is under the ceiling but the light is coming from above that and have some weird effect on the bookcase... This is a strange issue. I have used a GE IES light for all bulbs of the pendant which renders like this - see light number 4. What do you mean by weird effect? The bookcase is thr...
