Re: mattress, sheets, pillows...

Artisan is indeed great ! Another great plugin for such modelling would be tgi3Ds Amorph. They actually work quite well together too :) Curviloft, the Edge Extrude tools and many others are also very useful for such work. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=250026 tgi3d price tag is not...

mattress, sheets, pillows...

I need advices/hints/help to model and render furniture related fabrics and upholstery.

I would like to start with a mattress with sheets, maybe with pillows. Then would like to be able to sofas and others.

Can anybody suggest sketchup plugins or tutorials to do the job?

Thanks.

Re: the flight

There a hot air balloon festival near Montreal. Their flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/montgolfie ... 052592967/

Obviously you dont need anymore inspiration, but it is still interesting nonetheless.

Re: How Fast Are You - Official Twilight Scene - Bauhaus Lamp

Wonder if Phenom II X6 1100T or i5 2500K or i7 2600K would be a better choice speed/price-wise? I like AMD, and I think it would be a disaster if Intel reigned the arena alone... What you need to figure is how better rendering is with hyperthreading. By that I mean too, you need to understand how w...

Re: Takes all kinds..of Clients

First thing I see: one very nice nick on the side of the piano. 8PM: client calling, shouting, insulti...

I like it too. Good work.

That plant near the stair look maybe a little fake though, but not that bad.

I must say your grass and trees look awesome.

Your glossy wood and polished white coating materials look very real to me. :gj:
