Re: Living room inspired by Tomyong

Wondering how SU is dealing with this file :o

Great work. The floor and wooden part of furniture are too glossy for my taste, and the chairs at the left have strange cushions. The carpet looks blurred in the foreground. Lighting, vegetation, upholstery, wall decoration are really great.

Stone wall textures here:

Download links are "Скачать/открьiть (...Мб.)" but I suppose you could translate the page for convinience.

Here a small test render with one of Kamelot's textures:

Re: Retail interior

I don't like glossy floors, but this one definitely needs some reflection. In reality it will be a laminate flooring. I shall change the template used because the specular map applied to it actually kills the reflection, or I shall remove the spec map. Thanks for making a point of it. The fluorescen...

Re: Retail interior

A test render for another retail interior. Comments and critics are welcome. Shopping bag handles, shoes and cloth colors are obvious to-do's, but I suppose there are other problems that I am already missing after all these hours of work.

Re: Architect's Den

Very nice scene and render indeed! I would suggest you put some accent lights somewhere - replace the vegetation between the sofas with a floor lamp giving some reading light, maybe on the shelves. Also I believe the sofas are a bit too large, i. e. not scaled correctly, what is the height of the se...
