If your on a Windows computer do what Fletch said. On a Mac like me native SU Paint Bucket stinks so you have to make the adjustments on the Twilight side.

Attaching a couple of screen shots that show were I've successfully tweaked on solid Sketchup colors in my model. It's done in the Twilight Template Material window. Which one I use just depends on what I'm trying to accomplish.
