Twilight Render V2.14!

Announcing the release of Twilight Render V 2.14. This is a major feature update for all Twilight Render Pro users with new model importers and external proxy capabilities! We've also improved licensing on Windows, improved our Easy render presets, and updated for compatibility with SketchUp 2020.

External Proxies and Geometry Importers
We've added importers to support .3DS, .OBJ, Kerkythea XML, and FBX models! Models can be implemented fully into SketchUp as geometry (complete with materials!) or they can be linked as External Proxies for faster loading and reduced memory.

We have a tutorial on the basics of importers and external proxies here: https://www.twilightrender.com/index.ph ... rs-proxies

Improved Windows Licensing
We've updated licenses on Windows to make them more resilient to operating system changes. If you already have a license, you don't need to worry about re-activating right now. But any new or future activations will be more flexible to changes, especially Windows Updates.

Easy Render Setting Preset Updates
The Easy render settings have undergone a minor update. For the settings Low/Low+, Medium/Medium+, and High/High+ we have disabled caustics and enable faux-caustics. This will reduce undesirable noise for most users as well as improve render times for the higher end presets. Don't worry, if you need caustics, you can find them under the Tech directory!

We've just uploaded an update to 2.14 that provides some fixes for importers that didn't make it into the first 2.14 release. If you are using 2.14 and especially if you plan to use the importers, please download the most recent update, 2.14.3.
