I'm just learning Twilight. MANY years ago I use to work with VectorWorks-with built in Render mode. Now trying to learn Twilight 2 Pro.
Have simple render, and an trying to learn various lights and shadows, etc
As shown on the screen grab, I have "ceiling" turned off. However when the Twilight Render is finished the ceiling is back on. I have selected [Current View] in Twilight.
Any guidance, most a appreciated.
Good day

Re: "Current View" - is not rendering properly
First off you will want to uncheck "Selection Only". That is only for when you want to render a single selection. When rendering a whole scene make sure it's off.
Next, are you using Layers (or Tags I guess they are called now) to hide the ceiling? When a single Component has multiple Layers (or Tags) inside of it, by default Twilight Render doesn't examine the internal Layers (Tags). But you can enable that by right clicking on the Component and choosing "Render all visible layers in this components" (or ALL components). That should fix the issue.
Alternatively, rather than using Layers (Tags), you can hide the individual ceiling object within the component.

Thank You,
Turning [Selection Only] off, solved that problem.
