intended to be riverside but life happens. I have already spotted several bad mistakes but I will fix those.

Ceiling lights not clearing geometry and cutting characters with geometry fixed and changed light. Also made the render cooler temp wise.

Thanks, does anyone have a clue what the guy in this thread (https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewto ... 33&t=74424) is on about? Does he have a point or just a need to rant at something/someone?

He normally is not a renter. He generally is very helpful.

Overall a pretty good image. If this were my first rendering I would be thrilled to get this quality!

The mom and child are "cute" but can be distracting if not specific to the project (would be a cute touch if that was the actual client and child of client, for instance, but could be a turn-off if the image is created for another family)
Dogs, while loved by all, can distract the eye from the architecture, and even more-so if not extremely high quality.
The horizon line on the background image seems not to match the eye-height of the camera's perspective.
The lighting fixtures are not what one might expect to see in a residential situation.
The furniture layout is not what one might expect in a residential situation, looks like more of a waiting room type approach?
