Massimo (member of this forum) posted a great scene he created in SketchUp.

OK, remember when rendering Gemstones:

We highly suggest to use the gemstone material library.
Lighting setup is key.
You can use the HDRI included with the SketchUp format scene above. It is a very low res version copy of the original.
If you wish to have the original, get it here: Dining room of the Ennis-Brown House

Also, try some of these great free HDR photography studios.


PS - if you want try his scene, with his materials, then you must use the attached material library created from his original Kerkythea scene with materials set up. Just unzip this to your Twilight/Materials folder... your folder structure should look like this EXACTLY:

Final render, rotated sky to be back at angle "0" (zero) and rotated the camera just slightly, both in order to get rid of glare off of the diamonds.

Black backdrop could still be improved to change ground reflection from gray to black.
