Curtains and Drapes materials

Post by alvydas » Mon Jul 25, 2011 1:22 pm

I am prepared 20 materials for curtains. I think that there is a need. The material is easy ( EASY 09 render method) for the rendering time and quality. Attempts to look nice (to me). (Somewhat longer rendering the LightGrayDrape material.) Not a bad result with mesh curtains, but I'm temporarily abstaining for this materials library . So I do not know or you need this type of curtain. (Look at the last image).

wow, very nice materials. The curtain modeling is very impressive too.

I would definitely use that library.

You are trying to do a kind of velvet fabric, right?

Of your interior night shots, I really like the light gray biased and grayish brown biased.

I think the other colors are great, but the shadows are a little too strong for my taste, but than I am not a fan of velvet fabrics in general.

Have you tried rougher cotton fabrics with relatively low thread count?

Again, very impressive work :o :hat:

This is a different setting than velvet. I really similar to silk. Easy make a rough cloth texture, but the this setting makes material more shade. You can see all the folds. Look at the difference
