My Latest Kitchen Renders
Re: My Latest Kitchen Renders
A loft kitchen Looks great, leather texture on the chairs it's nice and the wood floor. Is that an arroway texture? Architecturally speaking is pretty good... hmm, but it's a typical island kitchen.

Hey Kronox. It's actually an extension at the back of a Georgian house in London. The texture is not Arroway so, now you're able to access the Red Carpet, you can download my floor for yourself here Oak Block Flooring. It's something I made some time ago but shared recently along with some other bits and bobs.kronox wrote:A loft kitchen Looks great, leather texture on the chairs it's nice and the wood floor. Re: My Latest Kitchen Renders
really nice! (except light is all white)
Re: My Latest Kitchen Renders
Hi Fletch. I know this goes against everything that you've told me but we've actually just started to use these new natural white LED lights which are pretty much WHITE. See attached image. The natural white comes across better in a contemporary kitchen than the warm white which is just too yellow. There is also cool white which gives off a blue light and this is also becoming popular.

Re: My Latest Kitchen Renders
I am familiar with them, and like them a lot.
But the downlights (can lights) too?

Re: My Latest Kitchen Renders
Yes I like the natural and cool white lights very much. I would find it odd though to have a mix of warm white with cool as they are very different effects and don't look too good side by side. We have cool white LED downlights in our showroom and they are very white almost verging on a blue tint. 8 out of 10 clients are purchasing cool white now.
The Kelvin temps for 10w LED downlights in the UK are as follows:
2800k - 3600k - warm white
4000k - 4500k - natural white
5000k - 6000k - cool white (our showroom are 5000k)
The above is dependant on manufacturers hence the wide variation
